I never really use my journal here on DevaintArt, but I figured I could do a monthly favorites journal from now.

[link] This is probably one of the most real life looking BJD picture I have ever seen. It’s such a sad picture.

[link] Such a gracious picture. Pure femininity. The eyes look mesmerizing.

Waiting for snow by *BlackRoosje
[link] I Love this doll’s face-up! I can’t really describe the mood of this picture, but it really caught my eye.

Dream green by ~MrRomanchikku
[link] This makes me think of a typical manga bishonen style portrait, which often have leaves or flowers as back/foreground. The fact that the leaves have the exact same color as the doll’s eyes, and the firered hair make the portrait look absolutely stunning. It also has a certain vulnerability.

[link] This reminds me of the song Fireflies by Owl city. It’s one of my favorite songs atm. It has this childhood memory feeling. Also the raindrop thingies remind me of fireflies. I wanna hear the song now.

[link] I love this beautiful detailed drawing. The thing that I like most is the make-up and the eyes of the character.

Vampire Knight : Night 019 by *mrsloth
[link] This very sexy shot of Kaname from Vampire Knight could’ve been drawn by the original artist. The style of the original manga has been perfectly captured without being an exact copy.

Once in a red moon... by *kaoru-chan
[link] I’ve always love fairies ever since I saw them for the first time in a fairytale book. The background of the character certainly has a very magical feeling.

Kikyo and Kagome by =siguredo
[link] This picture really describes the feelings towards each other for these three characters. I used to watch this anime a lot when I was younger. The relationships between the characters is beautifully portrayed here.
